जस्टिस के. चंद्रू एक वकील और मद्रास उच्च न्यायालय के पूर्व जज हैं। जज के रूप में उन्होंने क़रीब 96 हजार मामलों की सुनवाई की जो एक रेकॉर्ड है। चर्चित तमिल फिल्म जय भीम (निर्देशक टीजे ज्ञानवेल) 1993 के उस केस पर आधारित है, जिससे जस्टिस चंद्रू वकील के रूप में जुड़े थे। फिल्म में उनकी भूमिका तमिल सुपरस्टार सूर्या ने निभाई थी। जस्टिस चंद्रू तमिल और अंग्रेजी में लिखते हैं।
